Tanat Caravan Park is a friendly family run holiday park situated on the English/Welsh border in between the two market towns of Oswestry and Welshpool. The park has been in the Hall family for over 40 years with Ian and Cheryl Hall now running the park with their two children.
Situated just off the A483, the holiday park is in an ideal location for travelling from the Midlands, Liverpool and Manchester with some holiday home owners coming from further afield.
Surrounded by unspoilt countryside the park offers
peace and tranquillity with the River Tanat running alongside offering excellent fishing. The River Tanat is a good fishing river where barbell, trout and grayling amongst others can be found. An otter shows its appearance occasionally and the Salmon run up stream in the autumn with a weir close by where caravan owners can watch them leap!!
The park prides itself on its relaxed atmosphere which itself rewards us with people coming back every year and with many caravan owners being on the park for over 20 years. We have a friendly community of people on our park who make all holidaymakers welcome.
Countryside walks are aplenty with the country lanes, Montgomeryshire Canal and the Offa’s dyke within easy distance.
